Talent Acquisition Platform Tribepad Raises £12M in Funding
Tribepad, a Sheffield, UK-based provider of a software platform to improve the recruitment process, raised £12M in funding from UK and Ireland investor BGF.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach, as well as develop new features and functionality that will enhance the user experience.
Led by CEO Dean Sadler, Tribepad has built a talent acquisition platform for organisations across the country to improve their ability to source and attract people. The software is used across the globe, in 15 languages by the BBC, Tesco, G4S and many more.
“Tribepad is driven by the simple aim of making the recruitment process better and fairer for everyone,” said Dean, “Our software is proven to generate positive outcomes for candidates and employers, so that the right people are hired for the right jobs.”
Rob Johnson, investor, BGF, said: “The business is well-positioned to capitalise on favourable market tailwinds that are driving ever greater adoption of recruitment technologies as organisations look to succeed in what is an extremely tight labour market.”
As part of the investment, Andy McRae – part of BGF’s Talent Network – has been appointed as non-executive chair. He brings a wealth of experience from across the recruitment and technology sectors, having previously worked with a range of PE-backed businesses and entrepreneurs.
BGF recently announced it will invest £300m into Central and the East of England in the next five years.
