Mobile learning start-up doinstruct receives seven-figure funding from High-Tech Gründerfonds and Born2Grow.

Employee training, integration and communication rethought: doinstruct develops a low-threshold, multilingual, mobile training solution for frontline workers. The software enables companies to train their employees and service providers across the supply chain and from any location on their smartphones.

With the new, strong partners, doinstruct wants to revolutionize employee training in companies and drive product development and the company’s expansion into new industries.

“doinstruct revolutionizes the training, instruction and certification of frontline workers with a scalable product that is perfectly tailored to customer needs. In addition to exciting customers, we were also convinced by the team’s many years of experience, which will enable them to develop into a leading provider.” Christian Arndt – Senior Investment Manager HTGF

While employees with a permanent desktop workstation are increasingly using e-learning tools, there are hardly any training solutions for the 80% of employees, the so-called frontline workers without a permanent desktop workstation, that really reach all users. These are, for example, employees in logistics, healthcare, food production, gastronomy, retail or facility management.

In these sectors there are not only many unskilled, international employees and high fluctuation rates, but also a great need for recurring training and instruction.

In order to onboard, train and integrate frontline workers, doinstruct has developed a web app that interacts with employees on their private smartphones in their native language and prepares them for their job. The startup not only relies on intuitive, barrier-free operation, but also provides its customers with a library of high-quality, industry-specific training videos.

“We are very proud to have two great sparring partners in Born2Grow and the HTGF, who together with us want to take the training of many people to a new level.” Charlotte Rothert co-founder of doinstruct

With doinstruct, companies can significantly improve the training experience of their employees and save up to 50% of the costs. In addition, managers have time again to devote themselves to strategic tasks instead of having to deal with recurring training courses and their preparation.

“The training and further education of frontline employees will be of great relevance in the future due to the shortage of skilled workers and increasing legal requirements. With the 360° training software for frontline workers, doinstruct is revolutionizing the certification and training market. Compared to the existing face-to-face training courses, doinstruct’s training method is significantly more efficient and cost-effective. We look forward to working with the experienced and highly motivated team from doinstruct!” Manuel Böhringer – Investment Manager BORN2GROW GmbH & Co. KG

About doinstruct:

doinstruct was founded in 2021 by Daniel Marinkovic and Charlotte Rothert in Osnabrück. A few months later, the experienced managing director Thorsten Groß completed the team. The complementary trio met during a digital training project in the food industry. This gave rise to the idea of developing a low-threshold, multilingual, mobile training solution for frontline workers. Due to the target group focus, doinstruct was able to convince food groups, medium-sized companies and family businesses to use their software within a few months after the launch of the MVP. The startup now employs a 12-person team consisting of software developers, didactics and designers. doinstruct has set itself the task of developing a particularly user-centric training software
