October 29, 2024 – LinkedIn continues to innovate in the recruitment technology space, announcing the launch of its first AI agent, Hiring Assistant, a tool designed to automate up to 80% of a recruiter’s repetitive tasks and significantly improve recruitment efficiency.

The new tool, which integrates directly with LinkedIn’s vast platform, allows recruiters to offload mundane tasks such as candidate sourcing, job description synthesis, and initial screening. Early adopters, including companies like Siemens, Canva, and Zurich Insurance, are already witnessing significant improvements in productivity and candidate quality.

The Hiring Assistant is part of LinkedIn’s broader push towards AI in recruitment, harnessing the company’s data from over 1 billion members, 68 million companies, and 41,000 skills. Key features include “Experiential Memory,” which allows the system to learn and adapt to each recruiter’s unique workflow, and “Project Memory,” which stores and organizes information related to specific hiring projects.
