To honor our services and software partners for their outstanding innovations and best-in-class solutions, we created the Workday Partner Innovation Awards and announced our first winners in 2021, and again in 2022 and 2023. Now in our fourth year, we’re thrilled to highlight the next round of winning solutions.

Cross-Industry: KPMG
Operational Insights powered by Workday and Snowflake
KPMG and Fifth Third Bank designed and deployed a scalable framework to allow for equally deep reporting within both Workday Financial Management and Snowflake’s data platform. The data-first approach allows for new data pipes to be added in just minutes. Key accomplishments include scheduled and event-based feeds, daily movement of the Workday Foundation Data Model, high-volume subledger data, and complex average balance calculations. Snowflake is now the central hub for the Fifth Third Data Mesh, with Workday providing the finance data.

Kainos Contract Extension
This application optimizes the contract extension process in Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) for managers and manager support roles, helping increase efficiency and reduce errors. The application, which supports contract extensions for both fixed-term and casual contractors, delivers a new custom task, “request contract extension,” which automatically initiates native Workday tasks including change job process, propose compensation change, assign costing allocation, and maintain staff contract business process.
Financial Services and Insurance: Deloitte
InsureAcceleration: Deloitte’s Global Insurance Accelerator for Workday
This solution offers a secure cloud platform for transaction processing, accounting, reporting, and analysis. It consolidates claims and premium subledger data in Workday Accounting Center, improving data quality and enabling real-time KPIs. This streamlines financial processes across areas like close and consolidation, general accounting, transactional finance, expense tracking, analytics, budgeting, forecasting, audit, and internal controls. Leveraging pre-configured solutions, it accelerates Workday implementations and addresses insurance regulatory requirements.
Government: Accenture
Push Button Annual Comprehensive Financial Report
Accenture leveraged core functionality in Workday Financial Management and Microsoft Office Connect to create a “push button” annual comprehensive financial report (ACFR), as a seamless way to create the large, compulsory financial document. Government finance departments have long struggled with delivering the 300+ page ACFR efficiently each year. Accenture’s highly automated and repeatable solution significantly reduces the hours needed to prepare and review the ACFR, eliminates error-prone manual processes, and increases user satisfaction.

Healthcare: Huron
Huron Supplier Portal Bill Only Requisition
This supply chain application from Huron is currently the sole healthcare bill only solution powered by Workday Extend in the Workday Marketplace. It helps automate and streamline the bill only requisition process by eliminating manual back-office work from clinicians’ daily activities so they can practice at the top of their license. Suppliers can also submit their request and receive a purchase order within minutes versus days, reducing time to payment.
Hospitality: PwC
Tips and Tokes Distribution
This application helps businesses configure and manage rules that calculate tip- and toke-related compensation, allocate earnings, and integrate related earnings directly into Workday Payroll. Dashboards and reports help enable simple and seamless insights into calculations and distributions by employee, jobs, and shifts. The solution encompasses various Workday technologies to support a seamless experience. It can also help minimize the need for third party applications, manual processes, or custom integrations to support business needs.
Integrated Software Vendor Solution: Alight
Alight Worklife Payroll Integration
This offering brings forth a powerful, end-to-end HCM and payroll solution. By leveraging Workday HCM and combining it with Alight’s global payroll expertise, Alight provides software companies with a simplified, unified offering to seamlessly source, manage, and pay their global workforce. This certified integration stands out for its comprehensive capabilities and enhanced user experience, directly reflecting Alight’s commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions that drive efficiency, compliance, and success for clients globally.
Professional Services: Invisors
Product Resale Solution
Invisors has created a solution for organizations that have a resale revenue stream. This type of revenue stream is typical for many professional services organizations that mark up software and hardware products they provide to their customers. The solution connects an e-commerce system to Workday Financial Management and automates the flow of creating purchase orders, supplier invoices, and customer invoices within Workday. Overall, the solution reduces manual steps and allows each system to leverage its best-in-class capabilities.
Retail: Deloitte
Deloitte InstaView
This solution for retailers efficiently plans and monitors results that require the seamless integration of large volumes of data. Deloitte deployed this innovative solution for a joint customer (a global leader in sportswear), leveraging Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday Prism Analytics, and Deloitte’s Studio Integration Layer. The solution’s automated data import helped create a central dashboard, enhanced system performance, reduced IT costs, and allowed leaders to analyze and act on the data from a single platform.

Deloitte Content Accounting Calculator
Deloitte partnered with a media company joint customer to implement a Content Accounting Calculator using Workday Adaptive Planning, ensuring SOX compliance. This solution automates journal entries, integrates with Workday Financial Management, and improves FP&A processes.Tailored to the media company’s requirements, it reduces manual tasks, boosts forecast accuracy, and lowers labor costs. With plans for expansion, it offers seamless integration and scalability, driving efficiency, accuracy, and productivity for its users.

On-demand Pay
Through integration with Workday Financial Management, DailyPay automates and streamlines the earned wage access process for financial services companies, meaning no extra work for payroll and ensuring minimal disruption to the payroll team’s workflow. The Workday integration with DailyPay leverages built-in API web services to capture data for the user roster, net earnings, direct deposit update, and gross earnings.
Healthcare: HealthQlix
HealthQlix – LaborLytics
This is a labor management and productivity software tool designed for the healthcare industry to meet the challenging task of managing labor to volume. LaborLytics connects with Workday Prism Analytics to offer sophisticated pay period and daily productivity reporting for healthcare facilities, and extends that into real time staffing, detailed labor cost analysis, and position management and control functions. LaborLytics is uniquely designed to not only inform if hour and associated cost goals are being met but also exactly what improvements should be made and where.
Cross-Industry (oCHRO): SHAPEiN GmbH
Workday – On-premise Payroll Connectivity Solutions
This app integrates Workday HCM and a non-Workday payroll offering (on-premise and cloud versions) in real time with a seamless experience for end users and payroll admins. The solution processes over one million workers records across 98+ countries and 60+ client organizations. SHAPEiN works with clients through all phases of deployment, including after go-live support with its experienced and dedicated HRIT experts. With the product, SHAPEiN enables customers to run robust end-to-end HR admin and payroll processes.

Rooster Interview Scheduling
Engineered exclusively for Workday Recruiting customers and backed by bank-grade security, Rooster is transforming the chore of scheduling into an almost invisible process from screen to hire. With seamless, bi-directional integration, intuitive use, and AI-driven analytics, Rooster is setting the standard of scheduling excellence across diverse fields, empowering global teams to achieve more.
